BUS 110 Week 8

“Show me someone who has done something worthwhile, and I’ll show you someone who has overcome adversity.” — Lou Holtz we learned this principle this week in class. Having the desire to do something big like being an entrepreneur means we will go through hard things at times. The book A field guide for the hero's journey by Jeff Sandefer and Robert Sirico, it explains that there will be different types of hardships we will go through. We will go through the day-to-day rocks in our path that we will need to move and push through and be blessed but we will also need to face our dragons. The dragon we face is going to be a bigger and badder monster than any rock and it requires that we change in order to defeat it. We will not be able to just brush it to the side or jump over it. We will need to suit up, sharpen our swords and go fight for our lives. In the entrepreneur's case, it will be fighting for our businesses and our dreams.

It is important to know that these trials will face us and we can be prepared to fight the good fight for our dreams.
