My Triathlon Career

I started my sports career as a competitive swimmer at 8 years old. After 5 years of serious training, I added 2 other sports to my regimen in order to complete a triathlon. It started as a challenge to push myself and became a lifelong love. I then trained each day between 3-4.5 hours a day to be a competitive elite high school triathlete being in the top 3 in the state of Washington and being 25th in the United States to qualify for a world champion age group race. I learned the power of dedication and the joy of pushing my physical body.
