BUS 110 Week 9
This week we dived into learning about leadership. Leadership is an important part of business. For a business to scale then it needs to have employees and they need to do the work. You as the business owner can’t do it all and that’s ok. Leaders more often then not are not born but made. The first step you need to take to be a leader is to be a doer not just a planner. We learned in a story “A letter to Garcia” that we need to be the person who excepts and assignment and goes to work getting it done. You will need to take the assignment and try to figure it out yourself ask for help when you need it, and ultimately accomplish the task. When you are able to do that then you will be able to find other who can do the same. As an entrepreneur you will need to find people who will get the work done that you need to have done. Once you have that then your business will be able to have success, however you need to continue to be a good leader or you will stunt the growth of your business and those doers who work for you. You need to remember to be good leader by being humble, setting a good example, setting the vision, and lead with love. If you continue to do that then you will see success in your team and you will be able to have a team that works well together and will grow the success of the business.
