BUS 110 Week 13

In this week's study, we learned about a man Named Randy Haykin. I wrote a whole paper about it which you can see here. I also got to visit Walt Disney World, I love the story of how Disney got started and how much it has done. There are so many things to learn from Walt Disney and the magic Disney world brings to people. As an aspiring entrepreneur, I love observing how things are done at Disney and have learned lessons while there.

1. Attention to detail
I love how everywhere you look and everything the cast members are wearing is all very specifically designed to transport you into a magical land. There is no stone unturned when it comes to finding ways to add fun to the experience.

2. Mind-blowing customer service
Every single cast member has been so nice and very willing to help answer questions or make things magical for the guests

3. Sometimes "because it's fun" is an acceptable answer
Sometimes it feels like we need to make something that is serious and we feel we are questioned about why we are doing things and what the point is. Walt Disney I believe was able to confidently answer "because it's fun". I hope to be able to make things fun in the future and do them because I would have fun doing them and because others would think it's fun!

4. Dream big dreams
Walter Disney was a dreamer among dreamers. Starting with a simple cartoon of a mouse named Mickey to a worldwide empire is amazing and I believe it was because he dreamed big and believed in himself and we should all believe in ourselves and our big dreams!
